After launching a new comic book Adventures of DJ Nruff some few days ago, celebrated DJ Nruff now says growing up watching comics inspired him to think of making an adventure book.
“I grew up reading comics from the Marvel comics to your Archies and Tin Tins so I always wanted to be part of this culture, which brought out my imagination to life and made my childhood quite interesting. “Recently, the industry has started making really great movies and cartoons from these comics and their characters and I suppose this is the reason for this new drive,” he told Pulse.
“The comic is based on a futuristic DJ Nruff who is Captain in the “DJ Corp” an agency given the mandate to protect Music in the Universe. It revolves around Nruff and members of the Corp battling enemies who want to steal, corrupt and destroy music,” he informs.
Early in the year, DJ Nruff released a music album to become the first deejay in the region to do so.
