Rotimi Adebayor, the brother to Togo and Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor has finally spoken out. He has asked for forgiveness for the troubles he has brought to the family.

Emmanuel Adebayor had earlier released a second statement targeting his brother. In the statement he had accused Rotimi of stealing his shirts that had been signed by great players- Zidane included.

In an interview with BBC, the younger Adebayor has come out apologizing for his “regrettable actions”

In part he say: "I'm so sorry for everything that I've done wrong... I want to beg, forgive me,"

Emmanuel Adebayor last week released a statement accusing his family of taking advantage of his generosity. The player had also denied claims that he had left his mother to suffer in abject poverty.

His younger brother is now “on his knees” and hopes his family mends their broken ties.

Emmanuel Adebayor had previously promised to release another statement exposing the “greed” that was eating up his wealth.
