As celebrated Nigerian singer Davido lands in Nairobi today for his much anticipated show tomorrow, there is no doubt many girls will be throwing themselves at him.
But wait, careful now, Nairobi socialites. This guy has just declared that he is taken. Davido is dating 19-year-old Sira Kante from Guinea, a girl he met during a video shoot in November last year.
The two kicked it off after they met during the shoot of his Naughty video (featuring DJ Arafat) when after being struck by her great beauty, the two exchanged numbers and started communicating frequently.
But it wasn’t until the beginning of this month that he started dropping hints that he is smitten. According to sources, Davido and his crew organised a birthday surprise for Sira’s older sister Diessou Kante in Brooklyn recently before flying the team to Miami for a grand party.
Kante, Davido’s new heartthrob is said to have graduated from high school in 2014. Her older sister just turned 21.
The Nigerian singer was subjected to groupies and socialites’ attention on his previous Nairobi visit with some claiming they even shared a bed with him. In fact, Pendo alleged that they grooved all night under the same sheets.
