It looks like there is trouble in Cash Money paradise as Lil Wayne is out to sue co-founder Bryan Williams a.k.a Birdman and leave the company.
According to TMZ, the label refuses to release his 11th album, The Carter V, which was supposed to hit the shelves on December 8. Lil Wayne has gone ahead to sue Birdman for his promised $8 million advance.
Wayne also plans to take his Young Money artists Nicki Minaj and Drake with him when he leaves Cash Money as their contracts are with Young Money Entertainment (YME).
He also raps about it on his mixtape track, ‘CoCo’, “I ain’t trippin’, I got Barbie…I got Drake too.”
One thing is clear; Lil Wayne ain’t leaving without his crew
