Controversy often courts this Ugandan artiste whose musical prowess has seen him top musical charts for decades and this time round, he seems to have known his worth! As most artistes raise their concert performance fee gradually, Chameleon seems to be setting the trend as he recently made it clear that he is set for a high elitist concert this year.
The concert dubbed “One man, One show” will see the star rock the crowds in a concert whose entrance fee is pegged at Sh1million Ugandan shillings (Sh35,000 in Kenya). Upon hearing the news, fans complained and dismissed the idea of paying so much, yet the artiste was from their motherland. Jose Chamelleone, however, dismissed them saying;
“The “One man, One night, One show”, is NOT for anybody below affordance (sic). Honestly, it’s for the loyal fans and the crowd that can’t come to the other usual venues.”
