Two-time Groove Awards nominee and one of the biggest gospel voices in the region, Janet Otieno, has been nominated for the prestigious Atlanta-based Sauti Awards USA, music awards slated for August this year.
The singer, who is popular for her Christina Shusho hit collabo, 'Napokea Kwako' has been nominated in the Female Artiste of the Year, Kenyan category that also features Ruth Matete, Eunice Njeri, Mary Eliuds and TyBe.
The gospel star is known for her gospel-rich music content that is evident in a number of singles she has released in the recent past among them 'Heshima' that won her a Mwafaka award last year.
“I thank God for getting yet another nomination and my fans who have been very supportive,” Janet told MondayBlues yesterday.
