Anthony Ndungu has been identified as the man behind the scam
A few week ago, we reported that there was an imposter fleeing funds in the name of celebrated artist Wyre.
Now Wyre has come out with the identity of the imposter who has for a while been taking money from unsuspecting victims in the name of producing their music.
In a statement on his social media page, Wyre says;
Hi guys. The man in this picture is a conman, an imposter and a thief. His name is Anthony Ndungu. He has been conning innocent people on Facebook with a fake account called Wyre Love Child, posing as me and as an agent of Lovechild Records. He has been announcing that my company is doing auditions for various companies for adverts and projects and asking for payment for that. He also has been receiving payments for studio time at Lovechild Records. I would like to state clearly, that I do not do any transactions or business deals on Facebook. If anyone comes across him or knows his whereabouts, kindly report to the nearest police station or authorities.
