Gospel sensation Bahati releases music video that cost him a whooping Sh2 million!

Local News

Bahati

By May Jesaro (@KiptuiMay)

If there is a song that has begged to answer  the question of what is happening in our motherland today, Bahati’s new video would be the best fit.

The Groove male artist of the year released his new video dubbed ‘Visanga’ almost 17 hours ago, which caused a buzz on social media, his fans filled with admiration for the song. Bahati sings the song in the national language Swahili and brings the sadness we face day-to-day from wars, accidents and suicides among others.

The video, done by Young Wallace, costs Sh2 million and features two local news anchors portraying the element of news that we receive on a daily basis from tribalism to land disputes. The emotional song also brings out how people are no longer happy but fear for their lives and call God to intervene.

Bahati (‏@BahatiKenya) said  “I sat down, looked around and asked God why is this happening to my Mother Land #Kenya And it's Now #VISA,” on his Twitter handle as he released his video.

What do you think of the song?

Here are some of the comments on Twitter and YouTube.
