Yesterday was a sad day for many in the Gospel fraternity and Kenya as a whole on hearing about the passing of gospel singer Peter Kaberere.
According to reports, the talented singer was electrocuted while at a car wash, due to a faulty wire, on Sunday afternoon.
The singer who is famous for gospel hits such as Nisamehe, Just a Way and his latest Mwanake, was one of the pioneers in the urban gospel music.
He set up the group JoggC and later pursued a solo career. He was also the head of logistics at Mo Sound Ltd according to Ulizalinks.
He leaves behind a son and a wife who is expecting their second child.
We at SDE send our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
