“Pray to God and He will show you the man of your dreams.” This is common advice given to young women all over the country. One young woman seems to have taken this quite literary and not only did she believe her vision, she confronted the man of her dreams...forcefully.
The man on the receiving end unfortunately happened to be one of KTN’s leading anchors who by the way has been voted one of Nairobi’s most eligible bachelors.
The anchor was ambushed outside the KTN offices by the lady who identified herself as Terry. She was not keen on pleasantries. Instead she dropped the delusional bombs immediately she saw him.
“I had a vision last night from the Lord…in it, you were my husband,” she proclaimed, to the amusement of the people nearby.
Before the now visibly shocked anchor could respond, Terry went ahead to ask him to hold hands and pray, thanking God for the good fortune of having found each other.
The anchor was not going to take any more of the delusions and quickly rushed back to the safety of the KTN offices.
Terry was left mumbling vows of dedication and love while the security officers made sure that she did not make it through the gates.
Was this a case of stalking or misguided understanding of advice?
