Students from various city universities flocked several centres to donate blood for Westgate victims.
KCA students drove to Uhuru Park in two buses to donate blood.
“Our Vice Chancellor Noah Midamba came with us here and this is the least we can do to help,” KCA student’s president Albert Rioba told The Nairobian.
UoN students were not left behind as the institution held a blood donation drive organised by the deputy VC.
“Some classes were cancelled for today and so far we have donated 300 units of blood. I am happy to see even Jimnah Mbaru (former governor hopeful) donating blood,” UoN lab technologist Joyce Maganga said.
“Nobody should die for lack of blood. I love my country, and would like everyone to live in peace and harmony.”
