The popular and vibrant TV and radio personality who was at least 6 months expectant with their first child was killed in the Westgate attack. She had been hosting a cooking competition for children at the rooftop of the mall.
She was the beloved wife of Ketan Sood and cherished daughter to Shamsherali and Gulshan Juma Shivji Adatia, younger sister to Shahin Adatia, Pinky Adatia-Arnaud and Farah Adatia-Gomes, Lennox and Patrick.
Her funeral will be held today-Thursday, 26th September 2013- at The Aga Khan Pavilion and Complex at 9am. The cortege will leave for the Shia Imami Ismaili Cemetery at 10am. The Havan Ceremony will be held at the Sood residence 16i Bendera Lane on Saturday September 28.
Ruhila worked as a presenter on Radio Africa media group’s East FM, hosted entertainment news on Kiss TV, Kiss 100, X-FM and E-News. She will be missed by many.
