Following the tragic terror attack on the Westgate mall, Kenyan artists have come together to show their love and support for the victims of the horrendous act.
Started by veteran gospel artist Ambassada and KBC producer Steve Wehindi, the Pamoja Tunaweza initative has brought together many Kenyan artists who for the past 2 days have engaged in various activities to support the affected.
Since Monday, they walked from Bata Hilton in the city center to the blood donation camp set up in Uhuru Park. There, they donated blood and helped in cleaning up the center all the while giving messages of encouragement and appreciation to all those who attended.
“We as artists needed to come out and do our part in helping Kenya overcome this trying timesand strengthen the stand that we as Kenyans will not be defeated,” said Ambassada, “Together we shall stand strong. "Peace, love and unity. God bless Kenya.”
