The return of Rihanna

News
 Rihanna

After a six-year hiatus, Rihanna is set to make her long-awaited music comeback on the 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' soundtrack on Friday, October 28, 2022.

A video hinting at her return was posted on the Marvel Studios and Black Panther social media channel and began with the film's title coming into view.

After a second, the first 'R' in the word 'FOREVER' took over the entire screen, as the date '10.28.22' appeared. Several media outlets were quick to link this straight back to Rihanna and speculations that she has lent her new tracks to the movie added even more buzz to an already hyped arrival around the new Wakanda sequel.

Rumors have been circulating for some time that the new film will see the Grammy winner contribute some original music, with a report last week revealing she may have performed two songs for the film.

Although this may not be how fans were expecting her to make her comeback, the collective response on the internet is "We will take what we can get".

For years, fans have bombarded the star with questions about her comeback and a new album- which she often responds with 'I lost it.'

People are now jokingly linking her return with the cost of raising a child with one Twitter user saying "I knew motherhood was expensive when Rihanna had to return back to work"

Forbes magazine who had named Kanye West/ Ye as the richest musician are now re-assessing his value after his recent anti-Semitic rambling led him to lose most if not all of his partnerships which would threaten his billionaire status leaving Rihanna at the top position, the two ironically were both signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation at a time.
