For weeks now, celebrity couple Bahati and Diana Marua have been making headlines following the former’s gift of a Sh27million house and a Landcruiser Prado TX estimated to be around Sh9million to his wife.

Taking to their YouTube channel, Diana and Bahati documented their big move to the house located along the Eastern Bypass.

While issuing instructions to the movers, Diana stated that the house was still ‘delicate’ and the cheapest piece of artwork cost around Sh100,000 (which we haven't been able to verify).

"Guys, please be very careful. Don't break anything here because the cheapest artwork here is KSh 100,000," she said.

Bahati, on his part, also warned his kids against drawing on the walls and hanging on chandeliers, stating that they cost him an arm and a leg.

“Let us all agree that you will be watching TV from your entertainment room…please do not jump on my piano. It is very expensive.

“No hanging on chandeliers please,” he warned.

Their nanny Irene Nekesa also accompanied them to their new house barely a week after word went round that she takes home a Sh100,000 salary, which is yet to be verified.

Just last month, Bahati responded to naysayers who recently accused him of chasing clout for parading the gifts he buys his wife.

Taking to Instagram, Bahati acknowledged that he comes from a poor background but he has been immensely blessed over the years and he will keep sharing the little he has.

“To those who are doubting that God can bless a poor boy from the slums let me confirm this, yes I am a boy from Mathare slums and to those that believe God can raise a man from poverty to glory, May God do it for you too in Jesus name.

Adding: “The God who raised me is faithful to bless anyone.”

Diana also weighed in on the matter, urging Bahati to continue proving people wrong.

“Amen my baby!!! Prove them wrong. From grass to grace, you are highly favoured,” she wrote.
