Former music producer and entrepreneur Tedd Josiah has dropped a few nuggets of wisdom for his fans on long-term relationships and dating.
Sharing his two cents via his social page, the Joka Jok founder began by acknowledging that some people live life cautiously around their partners to avoid rubbing them off the wrong way with either their words or actions.
According to him, this watchful behaviour has caused more harm than good to individuals and numerous relationships and has even led to depression in some cases.
“Imagine being in a constant state of anxiety because you don’t want to cough the wrong way, say the wrong thing, do the wrong thing, make even the slightest of mistakes or worse still you can’t be yourself….This is how many people are sliding from relationships into depression,” he wrote.
In Tedd’s opinion, individuals should stay single and mingle as much as they can until satisfied before making the decision to settle down. This way, they will overcome the urge to step out of their relationship at any given time and break their partner’s hearts.
“If you are not ready for a relationship or ready to settle down my brother, my sister… play in the playground until you are ready but don’t use human hearts as a toy for your games…I said what I said! No one wants to talk about this openly though. - from the playbook of CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT 101,” he added.
This is however not the first time the single father of one is schooling netizens on life matters. Through his segment dubbed Character Development 101, Tedd has continually touched on matters varying from relationships, to family and self-love that affect netizens.
Discussing seasonal people in a previous post, the businessman advised netizens not to invest so much emotion on such individuals but focus on themselves.
“Some people are seasonal and the quicker you figure that out the better for you. This is how you can tell seasonal people. They enjoy the fun times A LOT!!! And will always be there at any sign of fun. They have many different people in their lives all for the fun times. They find the process of building and committing TOUGH!!!! At the drop of a hat they will leave u and your dreams in a rut and u have to figure yourself out because they “had a change of heart”
“They NEVER reach a targeted goal unless it’s under pressure or u FORCE them. I’ve learnt to GUARD MY DREAMS & GOALS from such people cause they will make u fail and fail badly……After all you were just a season in their lives… u don’t matter, the fun times matter…..Now how many COMMITTED people do you truly have in your corner?” he shared.
