Underground rapper Kimya is single again!
Kimya broke up with his Australian girlfriend Kirsty Miyaki with whom they got engaged two years ago.
For those struggling to recall who he is, Kimya is Bamboo’s younger brother whose rap career has never taken off. This is in comparison to his elder siblings, Bamboo and Victoria Kimani.
From the barbs that the two former lovebirds are throwing at each other on Facebook, it is obvious that this was not a happy ending.
“All of you back off my life. Love comes and goes, p**** comes and goes, friends come and go, money comes and go,” read part of his update.
When Heads Up reached him for a comment, Kimya said: “It was pretty much irreconcilable differences. I respect her and I value what we shared. It’s time to move one though.”
Kirsty, who was reggae MC Jah Watchman’s girl before meeting Kimya, seems composed.
“Break ups are never easy but everyone chooses how to handle them. I cannot be held responsible how someone else acts or the things they say. Life goes on and day by day it’s getting better,” she wrote.
