“I really needed a new image and the cornrows were no longer working for me. Besides, people can now stop asking whether I’m related to Jua Cali, ” he said.
DJ Nelly made it to the limelight when he won the Pilsner Mfalme DJ competition three years ago.
His victory earned him a souped up van complete with state-of-the-art DJ equipment.
