Chuck Norris memes rule the Internet, for a good reason. For many, Chuck Norris was the tough guy of tough guys. The 'Walker, Texas Ranger' star was the ultimate man of action scenes.

If you did not watch or hear of any of his movies or shows, you must be very young.

The legendary tough guy turned 84 this year on March 10, 2024.

In a video he shared on his Instagram, he sent a message, saying with a smile, "You know, I’m 84 today but I feel like I’m 48. God bless you all."

The biggest question for fans is where is he and what is he doing nowadays?

Carlos Ray “Chuck” Norris is an American Martial artist and actor. He is a black belt in Tang Soo Do, Brazilian Jiu jitsu and judo.

He is married to Gena O’Kelley (61), a former model and television personality. She was on several television shows but exited after she was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis ten years ago. The gorgeous duo has sired a beautiful pair of twins namely, Dakota Allan and Danilee.

"I have abandoned my film career to focus on Gena. My whole life is now focused on keeping her alive. I believe this issue is extremely important," said Norris in an interview with Unilad.

The popular action film star started his splendid career by training celebrities.

His first minor acting role was in a spy film called 'The Wrecking Crew' in 1969. He was then invited in 1972 by his friend and fellow martial arts actor, the legendary Bruce Lee to play a character as a villain in 'The Way of the Dragon'. 

The film was a huge success. This motivated him more and he starred in his next hit action movie, 'Breaker! Breaker!' in 1977 and 'Good Guys Wear Black' in 1978.

The phenomenal Chuck Norris then embarked to star in a collection of interesting, burgeoning and independently made martial arts and action movies.

Cannon Films noticed he was a walking success and they signed him multiple film deals where he starred in 'Missing in Action' in 1984.

Chuck Norris became a high-profile action film sensation exclusively and starred in other alluring action films like, 'Invasion U.S.A' (1985), 'The Delta Force' (1986) and 'Fire Walker' (1986).

From 1993 to 2001, the legend played title role in the long-running CBS television series, 'Walker, Texas Ranger'.

The films he starred in the 1990s were compelling and received a lot of praise over the years. They include, 'Delta Force 2' (1990), 'The Hitman' (1991), 'Sidekicks' (1992), 'Forest Warrior' (1996), 'The President’s Man' (2000) and its sequel in 2002.

The man is incredible because, in 2012, he acted as a mercenary in the movie, 'The Expendables 2' which was a huge success.

Chuck Norris is also a gifted writer who has penned down some literature on martial arts, exercise, Christianity, western fiction, philosophy, politics and biography.

He was twice a New York Times bestselling author, first with his book on his philosophy of positive force and the psychology of self-improvement based on personal experiences called 'The Secret of Inner Strength: My Story' (1988).

His second New York Times bestseller, 'Black Belt Patriotism: How to Reawaken America' (2008) is a political nonfiction book that talk of issues in the USA.

He has also been the face of many commercials and video games. The video games include Gameloft’s 'Chuck Norris: Bring on the Pain' (2008) and Flare Game’s 'Non-Stop Chuck Norris.'

Both are available on mobile devices and were well-reviewed. He appeared as “tough face” Fiat’s ambassador for their commercial vehicles Mobile and The World of Warcraft advertisements. This came after he was trending on social media with the popular Chuck Norris Facts.

In 2019, he hosted the documentary 'Chuck Norris’ Epic Guide to Military Vehicles on the History Channel where he ventures into vehicular creations by the US military.

The icon also acted in the season finale of 'Hawaii Five-O' in 2020. In 2021, he procured a slot as a tank commander in World of Tanks during the Holiday Ops Event. He was featured in a unique voice-over and gave players extra missions.

In a nutshell, it might be the 1980s action movies, the long-running 'Walker: Texas Ranger' TV series in the ‘90s, the viral jokes in the ‘00s to the present or the video games and commercials.

Regardless of how you know him best, he is still Chuck Norris, the Legend himself.
