Margaret Nyongesa, the mother of popular social media influencer Xtian Dela, has made a public appeal for her son to return home.
According to Nyongesa, Dela has been missing for the past four years, and even his siblings have been unable to reach him. In a viral video clip shared on Twitter, Nyongesa expressed her concerns and stated that she has been unable to contact her son, as he had blocked her.
"He said he was very busy and since then I have never heard from him. He has blocked me. Wherever he is, let him know his mum wants to see him. Staying for four years without seeing your child is not easy,” said Nyongesa.
Nyongesa said that she recently reached out to Dela's baby mama, Fatma Banj, with a message urging Xtian to visit his family for an urgent matter, but this did not yield any results. Even Dela's extended family has raised concerns about his whereabouts, as he has missed several family funerals.
Nyongesa explained that she noticed her son's strange behavior on social media, which she felt was not right. She was shocked when she realized that he had blocked her, preventing her from reaching out to him.
"People used to show me how my son was behaving on social media and I couldn't believe it. This was someone I had raised well. In fact, growing up, he used to sing with me in a Gospel band. I'm a singer too," Nyongesa said.

Nyongesa is now appealing to Fatma to produce her son in whatever way possible, as all she wants is to see him. She stated that she knows nothing about any issue in her family that may have led to Dela's disappearance.

An hour after his mother’s video went viral, Xtain took to his Twitter and shared an article on ‘How to recognize a toxic parent’ and disabled the comment section.
“THIS is one of the most IMPORTANT articles EVERY young person STRUGGLING with Mental Health MUST read!!,” he captioned the post.
Xtain, real name, Authur Mandela Nyongesa, had previously opened up about going through a rough time, and last year, he was accused by some of his fans of wanting to defraud them after appealing for financial help.
At the time, he had announced his intention to vie for the Member of Parliament seat for Westlands and started mobilizing cash through different applications. However, he later announced that he was considering quitting, as the youth he thought would support him were against him.
