Peter Tanui runs an Instagram account associated with the glitzy life of Nairobi’s richest kids.
His account, The Sexiest Teens in Nairobi, has been growing daily and has over 37,000 followers.
Speaking to The Nairobian, Tanui, said his inbox is always flooded with requests from the elite.
“Rich kids ask for shoutouts. They want to be seen splashing cash everywhere. They also want to be associated with other famous people,” said Tanui.
Tanui added that most rich kids do not know him, but are willing to go to extreme to have their lifestyles posted on his page.
He tagged us on some of the photos of the rich kids, whom he said are not comfortable letting people know who their folks are.
True to his account, there are rich kids on Kenya’s Instagram with very little information out there about their parents.
Churchil Oz posts photos of himself with bundles of money, but is only identified as coming from an affluent family. Robert Momanyi aka Robert_Birdman, has an Instagram world filled with personalised number plates and memberships to exclusive clubs
Beyond that, nothing is really known of him.
