A pregnant woman was arraigned in court for attacking a businesswoman she accused of attempting to snatch her hubby.
Regina Ngute was accused of assaulting Purity Mutie on September 2, 2016 within Industrial Area and inflicting serious bodily harm.
According to court documents, the complaint was leaving her hotel around 8pm when she met the accused who appeared disturbed.
Regina is said to have stopped Purity demanding to know what she wanted with her husband at the hotel.
Before Purity could respond, Regina allegedly slapped her in the face and hit her head.
Witnesses claim the accused again beat the complainant who suffered serious injuries in the head, face and back, before she was rescued by the public.
Purity sought treatment at a nearby clinic and later reported the matter to police.
Regina denied the charges.
The matter will be mentioned on October 31, 2016.
