Chelsea's John Terry’s dad dating Kenyan lady 20 years younger than him

They met in November 2014 when the pair lived doors away from each other in Chafford Hundred

A Kenya-born woman could be pregnant by Ted Terry, the father to English football star, John Terry. Evelyn Minkey Murai, 39, a mother of three who has been living with Ted Terry, 61, in Essex, London, was recently snapped by paparazzi holding a pregnancy kit.

The Sun newspaper reported that Ted Terry is a doting father, and even helps with the school run. They met in November 2014 when the pair lived doors away from each other in Chafford Hundred, and moved to a terraced house in Chichester, in Sussex. Kenya-born Evelyn is getting divorced from husband Stefan, 42.

Last August, police were called when Ted and Stefan allegedly came to blows at Evelyn’s family home. No one was arrested. Evelyn works as a management accountant for the London transport system, while her estranged hubby is a career banker.

There is no suggestion Ted Terry was involved in the breakdown of the marriage. John Terry has said he first got into football while watching his Manchester United-supporting father play Sunday League matches in Essex.

When asked about the relationship at the home rented in Evelyn’s name, Ted said: “Just go away. Leave it, yeah.”

In 2010, Ted faced jail after admitting drug dealing when he was accused of selling three wraps of cocaine in a wine bar for £120 (Sh14,600) and bragging that, “This stuff’s all right. I get off on it.”

Ted, who thought he was selling to the chauffeur of a rich businessman, boasted: “This is between me and you. Don’t tell him I’m John Terry’s dad.”

The deal was filmed by an undercover reporter. Terry was arrested after handing over the cocaine in the toilet of Unit 4 in Chafford Hundred, near Grays, Essex. The bar is near the £250,000 (Sh30 million) house his son bought him.

John Terry, worth an estimated $61 million (Sh6.1 billion), knew nothing about his dad’s drug deals.

The family faced tougher times in 2013 February when John Terry lost the England captaincy after allegedly cheating on his wife Toni with teammate Wayne Bridge’s squeeze.

In January 2010, a super-injunction was imposed by a High Court judge preventing the media from reporting allegations that John Terry had had a four-month affair in late 2009 with Vanessa Perroncel, the girlfriend of Wayne Bridge, his former Chelsea and England teammate. The injunction was lifted a week later, and the British media – mostly tabloid press – covered the rumours in great detail.

In 2009, John Terry’s mother and mother-in-law were sued by Tesco over their shoplifting ‘spree’.

Sue Terry, 50, and the Chelsea defender’s mother-in-law Sue Poole, 54, faced a civil action for more than £300 (Sh36,600) to pay for the security operation that detained them.

The pair was arrested after they loaded their car with £1,450 (Sh176, 900) worth of goods stolen from Tesco and Marks & Spencer at Brooklands shopping centre in Weybridge, Surrey. The items included watches, pet food and clothes.
