A Kakamega man stunned the court when he claimed that he was not scared of paying a fine because his rich Muhindi boss would sort him out.
Francis Munyendo was arrested for endangering his life by travelling on top of a cane trailer.
It is alleged that Munyendo was arrested by traffic police along the Navakholo-Kakamega road on May 17. He pleaded guilty, saying that he couldn’t afford fare to travel back to Kakamega.
“I don’t have anything else to say. My boss is around and will pay for any fine imposed by the court,” he said.
He was fined Sh2,000.
