A man landed in court for allegedly beating his neighbour who stared at him when he was half-naked.
The court heard that on February 7, Johanes Oduor attacked and beat up Eunice Adhiambo in Accra estate. On the fateful day, it is claimed, Oduor had stepped out from the bathroom and bumped into Adhiambo, whom he claimed stared at him and even went ahead to “blow him a kiss.”
Oduor claims he felt insulted and violated by Adhiambo’s “suggestive stares.”
He demanded to know why she was staring at him and when she could not answer, he followed her to her house and allegedly beat her. Adhiambo’s screams reportedly attracted neighbours who came to her rescue. They later called the police who arrested him.
Odour denied the charge and was released on a Sh10,000 bond.
His case will be heard on March 23.
