Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) student leader Ibrahim Boru Shalle has dismissed a purported audio clip of him murdering The Queen’s language.

He claims that the clip that has been doing rounds on social media is the work of his political opponents both within and outside the university.

He accused his opponents of editing the clip to paint him in bad light, but vowed that he keep on carrying out the duties given to him by the students.

Boru who heads Jomo Kenyatta University Association (JKUSA) was supposedly speaking to the media over the death of a female student leader and the rising cases of insecurity around the university.

“I was overwhelmingly elected by a majority of JKUAT students, who still believe in me and my leadership, so I will not be distracted by these cheap jokes,” he said, adding that the JKUAT students body was behind him.

Boru told CampusVibe that he was handling a serious matter involving the death of a comrade and wondered why some people wanted to play politics with the death of a colleague.

University of Nairobi student Kenneth Otiende asked his JKUAT counterparts to recall their president for embarrassing them in the media.
