When the incident took place, the deceased's husband was away and only coming back at midday to find the two bodies.
The bodies have been taken to Moi County Referral Hospital mortuary.
Reports indicate the incident might have been caused by an illegal electricity connection.
Area police and Kenya Power officials are investigating the incident.
