A mother shocked a Nakuru court last week by confessing that she killed her son on the instructions of a devil worshipping agent in order to get riches.
Beth Njoki, a mother of two, was accused of killing her two-year-old son Njuguna by throwing him into a borehole at Muthenji village, Kuresoi district within Nakuru County.
The 24-year-old mother initially denied the allegations but after being cornered, she confessed.
“I met a devil worshiper in Molo who persuaded me to sacrifice the child so that I could get riches from their organisation,” she confessed, leaving the court in shock.
A probation report indicated that she wasn’t remorsefully of the offence.
The probation officers asked for more time with the accused before sentencing, which the judge said will take place on October 23.
