An Olympic athlete last week had a fashion disaster during a competition when her wig fell off, exposing all she wanted to hide.
Nigerian long jumper Blessing Okagbare, according to Huffington Post, was taking part in the competition in Oslo, Norway, and when she took a leap, her wig followed suit as it too jumped off her head.
“When the Olympic medallist landed, her wig fell off her head in what went viral,” reported the paper. The good thing is that Okagbare was not embarrassed by the situation or she acted as if she was not.
“She didn’t show it. Instead of wigging out, she waited for her mark to be measured 6.21 metres then grabbed the wig and put it back on her head,” said the paper.
She later posted a clip of the incident on social media, thus, silencing her tormentors.
