A man has been charged for attempting to defile his 15-year-old step-daughter. Samson Mungai, 37, allegedly tried to force himself onto the girl at their Starehe home.
The court heard that on September 21, after Mungai’s wife had stepped out, he allegedly wooed the girl, telling her she had nice boobs. He claimed she was of prime age to sleep with a man, hence there was no need of her sitting her KCPE exams.
Noticing the girl was not responding, the step-dad allegedly moved to the couch where she was lying and squeezed her breasts before tearing her panties. Luckily, the girl’s mother arrived as Mungai attempted to rape her.
The woman raised an alarm leading to the arrest of Mungai. In court, Mungai claimed,“I was just checking who has been touching her breasts because they are too big for her age.” He was released on a Sh100,000 cash bail. His case begins on January 19.
