 “Why did she tag along her boyfriend to the salon?”

 My hairdresser said this under her breath as some lady walked into the hair salon with her man in tow.

At first, my hairdresser and I thought he was dropping her and was going to leave right after.

However, to our shock and without batting an eyelid, the man pulled a chair right next to his girlfriend. 

He spent half the time busy on his phone, playing games.

Trust me, it was a tear-jerking sight. How does a sober, grown up man chill out with his girl in the salon? I know they say spending time together spices things up, but salon is a no-go zone for the menfolk! 

Furthermore, what happened to giving each other a bit of space?

Look, there are places couples should never be seen together:

 

The hair salon

Let’s admit a lot happens here. From tongue lashing to gossiping about anything in the sun!

Yeah. It’s the only place a woman will feel safe without her weave and uncombed hair.

It’s a place where the whole make-over happens and it hurts when your man sees the pain you undergo to get your eyebrows tweezed…and the legs all smooth and shiny.

   What’s the point of a man looking all distressed as he waits for you to decide which weave to put?

Gentlemen, unless your baby mother has asked you to accompany your daughter to the hair salon, don’t spend any time in the salon waiting for your girlfriend to get her hair done. Men should only drop a woman to the salon and pick her up later.

Boy’s night out

The same way women love to enjoy their girl’s night out is the same way men want to enjoy boys’ night out.

A man isn’t necessarily cheating when he says he’s going out with his boys. What he simply means is; I just want to have a ‘boy to boy’ bonding (read boozing) session.

Being visual creatures, it is expected they will flirt with women and admire.

Only an insecure woman would have an issue with their man going for boys’ night out.

Women, whatever your man gets offered when he is out enjoying boy’s night out is 20 per cent. So relax!

If you are treating your man right then just know no woman in the club can trump the 80 per cent you give him.

Shopping

Every time I see woman dragging her better half to a shopping spree, my blood boils.

It is an eyesore. I mean, what happened to tagging along your girls?

Most women are indecisive and it takes ages deciding on what it is exactly we want to buy, which irritates men.

For men, they will walk straight into the store pick what brought them and leave.

Women, on the other hand, will take their sweet time trying to decide which colour works well, is the design right, what’s the quality of the item and so much more. See the difference? Kindly save him the walking and price bargains!

Gynecologist visits

Unless the woman you are sleeping with is about to have your baby, never take her for a gynecologist’s appointment. Gentlemen, save yourself the time of watching another man all up in your woman’s cookie jar by just staying at home or working!

 The barbershop

The same way a man should not be in a hair salon waiting for his woman the same applies to women. Thou shall not visit the barbershop with your man!  Trust me, whatever is discussed there is not worth your ears.
