
Four relatives died and another injured on Saturday morning after their vehicle, a Mazda station wagon, rammed a stalled truck at Kenol in Murang'a County on the Nyeri-Nairobi highway.
The victims were heading for a burial, when the accident occurred at 5:30am, police said.
The deceased, three men and one woman, were aged between 19 and 60 years.
Their bodies were moved to the General Kago Funeral Home, while the injured, a 60-year-old woman, was taken to the Thika Level Five Hospital.
The accident was reported at the Makuyu Police Station under the OB Number 06/6/7/2022.
The wreckages of the vehicles were towed to the same police post.
