Quite the impressive writer, Rose Kwamboka has built her brand writing life stories on different issues across society. Her smart work has seen her rub shoulders with society’s top cream. Following this she recently earned her right as one of Kenya’s Top 25 Under 25 entrepreneurs in Kenya.

Of beauty and brains, Rose, the second born of 3 children was born in  Nyeri and raised in Nakuru where she attended the Mary Mount Group of schools for her Primary and secondary education.

Growing up, her family often travelled across different parts of the country which granted her a firsthand exposure at life around Kenya. Soon secondary school, she attended Strathmore University for a Diploma in Leadership Management and a Degree in Actuarial science.

 It was while at Strathmore University that Rose realized her writing talent and engaged it. A chance to join the HIV Free Generation boosted her vision towards improving her writing skills as she was now able to tell stories of the Kenyan youths to the world while advising those living with HIV and AIDS to stay positive.

Soon after her attachment to the HIV Free Generation was complete, Rose joined the Standard Media Group’s Pulse Magazine where she kept writing about the youths, as well as pushing celebrity brands to the top.

Overtime, Rose has written for many other magazines like Eve Woman and across different societal issues. It was on this backdrop that Rose was nominated for the Top 25 Under 25 competition under the Social issues category, which saw her battle it out with other top youths and emerge one of the finest!

Recently accepting her Award, Rose noted that besides this experience being a dream come true for her, this rare opportunity had opened her up to many opportunities and perspectives. Impressive setting the pace Rose Kwamboka is our WCW today and her advice to the youth is that;

“Hold on to your visions and dreams, and do the best you can towards achieving them as they lay a foundation for your destiny.”
