One year is what it took Kenyatta University to complete the Ruiru Campus gate.
The gate and the perimeter wall around the campus allegedly cost the institution over Sh20 million according to a finance officer who spoke on condition of anonymity.
Vice Chancellor Prof Mugenda launched the gate on January 24 at Ruiru Campus grounds. All classes were suspended to pave way for the ceremony. The VC also bought supper for all students at the campus.
