There was nothing left to chance about Kim Kardashian's dazzling return to the public eye. The newly single reality superstar looked absolutely incredible as she was photographed on Tuesday, the first time she had been seen by fans since filing for divorce from husband Kanye West. Days after taking the first official step to ending her marriage, media-savvy Kim had never looked better as she carefully managed her reappearance on the public stage.

Dressed to stand out in a clingy neon green dress that highlighted her famous curves, the beaming 40-year-old was surrounded by a fawning group of her most loyal companions as she headed out for sushi at a Beverly Hills hotspot. Her hair styled in waves and skin fully made up, Kim wore stylishly layered pair of necklaces and a hefty gold ring.

One accessory notably absent was her wedding ring, which she ditched prior to filing to end her seven-year marriage. With red carpet events cancelled due to Covid regulations, Kim instead was snapped at Matsuhisa after an all-day photoshoot at Milk Studios. Helpfully seated in clear view of the paparazzi documenting her every movement, she beamed throughout the pricey dinner.

She was warmly greeted by friends including Jennifer Meyer and stylist Maeve Reilly, who were already dining. At her side were her sister Kourtney and long-time best friend La Anthony, former assistant Stephanie Shepherd, and Jonathan 'FoodGod' Cheban, who has never once wavered from his role as chief Kim cheerleader.

A smiling, animated Kim made it clear she was not mourning the huge changes to her personal life as she laughed with her gang and pouted for smiling selfies during the friendly celebratory-style dinner. Since news broke of the divorce filing, Kim has been posting to social media, celebrating a friend's birthday teasing her mum Kris Jenner and listening to breakup songs.

But the three times married Keeping Up With Kardashians star saved showing her face until now. Prior to her first night out as a single woman, her ex Kanye was spotted out without his ring for the first time since their divorce went public. The rapper turned designer was seen in a tracksuit as he stopped by the Yeezy Christian Academy on Monday afternoon.

In her legal papers, Kim is asking for joint legal and physical custody of the children and Kanye is said by those in the know to be happy with the arrangement. Neither party is contesting the prenup and that the former couple are already far along in reaching a property settlement agreement. The couple, who are parents to North, seven, Saint, five, Chicago, three, Psalm, 21 months, are said to have come to their conclusions amicably and 'quickly', according to reports over the weekend.
