Tom Cruise has been branded ‘the new Ellen’ after an explosive outburst by the star directed at crew members on his Mission Impossible 7 team divided opinions – leading to accusations the star has a history of “abusive” outbursts.

Last week, a recording of 58-year-old Tom unleashing a volcanic level of rage at two crew members who had failed to keep more than two meters apart on set contrary to Covid-19 health and safety measures of the blockbuster movie went viral.
