Kenyan singer Tanasha Donna has opened up on parting ways with her manager and long-time friend David Munyua better known as African Castro. The two parted ways about a month ago, and Ciza Obare is currently managing Tanasha.

During an Instagram live session with fans, Tanasha, who refuted claims that he abandoned his friend at his hour of need, revealed that she and Castro still have upcoming projects. In October, Castro revealed that his father was hospitalized for two months, adding that the family had to leverage their house to get the dad out of the hospital.

The singer explained they parted ways because Castro was not fit to manage him, something she claimed was a mutual understanding.

“We have so many upcoming projects, so those are lies. I want to clarify that we even met yesterday and spoke about it. Everyone these days is just making assumptions. People believe what they see out there without having concrete proof about what the reality of the situation is.

“We came to a conclusion, and it was a mutual understanding between us two. He was not really fit to manage me, something he acknowledged himself. So it was not me just coming out here and bad-mouthing him “oh he wasn’t fit to manage me.” This is something he recognised himself and he said he’s more into business development,” said Tanasha.

African Castro is one of Kenya’s leading talent managers, having worked with stars and media personalities such as Seth Gor, Shaq The Yungin, Tracy Wanjiru, Tracy Macharia, Martin Kimathi, and Sean Andrews.

Speaking to the Standard Entertianment&Lifestyle on parting ways with Tanasha, Castro said, “It was amicable, and I will now be embarking on a different journey with my new company Established African.”
