Rappers Octoppizzo and Khaligraph Jones, two of Kenya’s most notable hip-hop heavyweights amid an infamous rivalry, have put aside their differences following the latter’s first-ever BET nomination in the Best International Flow category.

Taking to Twitter in a rare move to congratulate and rally support for the Lwanda Magere Legacy 1 star, Octopizzo wished his nemesis the best, saying he is genuinely rooting for him to bag the BET gong. “We’ve always had our differences and that will remain like that. But congratulations Brayo aka KJones on your BET nomination, all my die-hard go vote for Jones, na akishinda hio award namvutisha vela cha lazima si ati nini. All the best ~ Don,” tweeted Octopizzo.
