Nairobi Governor, Mike Sonko Mbuvi has heeded to public pressure and embarked on a 16-week intense workout program that will enable him to get rid of his ‘kitambi’. Sharing his fitness plans with his fans on social media, the politician promised to get a defined six pack come December. “Before this year ends I have to get a 6 pack. After a busy weekend, I woke up on Monday feeling really good. Today marks my first day in the gym due to public demand I’m getting rid of this big stomach,” he said.
The Governor advised individuals stuck at home due to the Corona Virus pandemic to create time and workout and remain physically active. “Since the outbreak of the coronavirus most people have been spending most of their time indoors leading to less physical activity. I would however advise young people especially men to take some time and do some physical activities to remain physically fit,” he added.
