PHOTOS: 10 artists treat fans to the biggest online musical extravaganza

On Friday, July 17, Kenyans roared in excitement to a classy treat of the biggest online musical extravaganza dubbed Trace Fest whose star-studded line up included Khaligraph Jones, Octopizzo, Kaka Sungura, Fena Gitu, Kagwe Mungai, Femi One, The Kansoul, Ochunglo family, Sailors and Jua Cali. The three and a half-hour show delivered epic entertainment to fans who during the coronavirus pandemic period due to restrictions and ban on club activity are domiciled in their homes.

In a statement, Danny Mucira, the Trace Eastern Africa Managing Director, stated that the experience was one to remember as it offered artistes a platform to ‘showcase their art, grow their following and allow them to earn a living’. “I want to thank the Government especially the Ministry of ICT for facilitating the event and support in ensuring a smooth flow and support work. Government agencies like Kenya Film Commission, Regional Commander Nairobi, Media Council of Kenya,” said Mucira.
