Radio personality Maina Kageni has reached out to Keroche heiress Anerlisa Muigai following her sister's passing died early this month and burial on Saturday, May 16.

Taking to social media, the Classic 105 presenter pledged his undivided support to Anerlisa as she continues to mourn her departed sister, Tecra Muigai.

While responding to Anerlisa’s post on Instagram, Maina stated that Tecra was in a better place and that he is only a phone call away should the grieving NERO CEO need him.

“Anerlisa God will provide the rock you need to rest upon… Tecra is in a better place, of that no one can argue against… if there’s anything you want me to do, I’m a phone call away,” he wrote.

Anerlisa had earlier posted on Instagram to thank her fans and friends for standing with her family during the difficult period.

“We deeply appreciate your expression of sympathy, your prayers and thoughts during the difficult time,” she wrote.

In her tribute during her burial over the weekend, she described her late sister as a pillar who never turned her back away from her when everyone else did.

‘When every single person turned their backs on me, forsaken me, given up on me, or walked out of my life, you never left me, you never judged my life me, and neither did you betray me. Now I don’t know how it is going to be without you because in so many ways I looked up to you more than you ever knew,’ read Anerlisa’s tribute.

Narrating her relationship with the deceased, she admitted that even though Tecra was her younger sibling, she always acted like the elder sister.

“My younger sister but you acted like my older sister,” she wrote. “I remember when we started Nero Company together, you drove the company like it was your baby. Your eye for design and perfect tone of colour was out of this world. I have learnt so many work ethics from you. I promise to grow the company just like you wanted it to grow.”

Tecra was laid to rest in a private ceremony graced by leaders from the business and political circles led by ODM Party chief Raila Odinga and Nakuru Governor Lee Kinyanjui at the family’s home adjacent to the Keroche Enterprise in Karai area, Naivasha.

Maina Kageni was the Master of Ceremonies.
