Rihanna performs African `gwara gwara’ dance at the Grammys

The 2018 Grammys was a night of politically charged performances and emotional moments. And as the Internet continues to discuss all that went down, many on social media are celebrating the night's representation, including in a performance from Rihanna.

Rihanna took to the stage on Sunday night to perform "Wild Thoughts" with DJ Khaled and Bryson Tiller. The Grammys moment had many praising the makeup mogul for her meme-worthy moves, but as some have pointed out, Rihanna's performance included a popular dance from South Africa called the Gwara Gwara.
