Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams have long denied stealing their hit track Blurred Lines from Marvin Gaye’s song Got To Give It Up, but now a court has found in favour of Gaye’s estate.

Thicke, who became a household name for the track and the song’s producer, Oscar-nominee Pharrell Williams, have been ordered to pay out nearly Sh 700 million to the Gaye family after a jury found that the hitmakers had infringed on the late star’s copyright for the 1977 song.
