Kenyans were shocked this week after the photo of the stark naked Member of the county assembly was circulated on social media.

The highly trending photo on Whatsapp shows a Kimilili Ward MCA David Barasa naked in standing in a room.

The photo caused quite a stir with Kenyans castigating the Ward leader for displaying his manhood in the public. Barasa who is also a local musician and the owner of Webuye Jua Kali band, however, dismissed it has the photoshoppped photo meant to tarnish his name.

“The photo you are sharing out there is not mine but it has been computer generated to tarnish my name, my rivals should employ better tactics rather than doing this to me, am a family man and a respected leader,” he said.

Jua Kali as he is better known is blaming some senior Bungoma County officials for his woes, he says that they are using a certain lady known to him to distribute those photos.

“I know the lady distributing the photos and I have met her one’s or twice during our intimate relationships, she is being used after she was promised the good amount of money.

Jua Kali who was elected on New Ford Kenya ticket is now subscribing to Coalition for Reforms and Democracy.

Lady Hope, one of the social media lovers has accused Barasa of disappointing fellow by displaying his nakedness which is against the Bukusu culture for a circumcised male person to showcase his manhood.

“This is very much embarrassing why should a married man move out with ladies and end up photographing his nakedness yet he doesn’t do it in his house? You have embarrassed your fellow men,” said Lady Hope.

However, a nither social media diehard Philip Nyongesa blamed the MCA for showing bad example to other men. “It’s a taboo for men to display their manhood for a photo session, Women are very evil they have showed him the true colours, Barasa you are a disgrace to men,” he said.
