Bongo star Diamond Platnumz has encouraged his mother Sandra Sanura Kassim popularly known as Mama Dangote to live life to the fullest.
Celebrating his mother, Platnumz noted that she went through a lot of challenges raising him and underscored that she deserves all the best things life can offer.
“Kula Maisha mamaangu, Umepata tabu sana kunilea hadi leo kufika hapa...furaha yangu ni kuona unafurahi,” read Platnumz's post.
Known to be a great pillar in the singer’s life, Mama Dangote’s support, according to Platnumz, propelled his music career.
On international women's day, he came out to acknowledge her as one of the special women in his life who contributed immensely to his success and pushed him to be a better person.

In 2017, while on his tour dubbed From Tandale to the World in Europe, Diamond Platnumz revealed that he intentionally asked his mother to accompany him since she had never in her life travelled to that side of the world.
“All this time, my mother has not been able to travel to Europe or abroad in that matter but has religiously been listening to my music at home.” He said.
He pointed out that it was important that they tour together because according to him, life is short
“Inaweza kuwa kesho au kesho kutwa nikadondoka nikafa halafu mama yangu akabaki tena kuisikia nikaona ni bora kwenda kutoana ushamba kabisa,” he said.

In 2019, he got her a white Toyota Land Cruiser V8 during her birthday that she said with his then-lover, Tanasha Donna.
“Words can’t express how happy I am to celebrate the rebirth of the two women that I love the most. My lovely mom Mama Dangote and lovely baby Tanasha Donna,” he wrote.
Whilst she separated with Platnumz father Abdul Juma, Mama Dangote found love in Rally Jones and has been on the receiving end severally for dating someone younger.

While responding to critics last year, the 49-year-old mother of two revealed that she got married to Jones, to have fun and not to make babies.
“Sisi tumeoana sio wa kuzaa, tumeona kula good time. Tuzae nini na utu uzima huu? Sasa nizae nini? Mwataka nifie labour? Mume wangu ananipenda, sitaki mambo ya kuzaa zaa,” Mama Dangote said.
