The ex-boyfriend to South Africa based Ugandan businesswoman Zari Hassan, has come out to reveal that Zari is usually very hot-tempered.
Speaking to local media in Uganda, Robert Ogwal, popularly known as Bob, said that when he was dating the socialite cum businesswoman, she was good to him during the first days but later turned into a hot-tempered lady.
“If she goes to a restaurant and they delay to take her order or bring her food, she could easily get angry and even beat the waitress,” said Bob.
The mother of five had a week ago refused to read the list of winners during the just concluded Miss Uganda beauty pageant 2019 after the MC of the night, Anita Fabiola referred to her as ‘mama' while inviting her on stage.
“We have our top three right here in this envelope. Mama, are you going to do us the honours?” Fabiola asked Zari, a name that did not settle well with the Boss lady.
Zari then turned to Fabiola and said she was beyond doing paperwork "admin work" before she asked Fabiola to do it instead, which was basically opening up the envelope.
However, after Zari realized the audience was not happy with how she handled the matter, she tried to change the tune to make it appear like it was an earlier planned move but it was already too late to change the audience, she was even booed harder.
Fabiola then came in and tried to calm down Zari but the Boss Lady could not buy it.
"Zari, Zari, am the host of this show, this is not the time or place...," Fabiola said before Zari cut her off with "Oh no, it does not matter".
Fabiola finally apologized to the audience over the unexpected clash before she announced Oliver Nakakande as the winner of Miss Uganda 2019/2020.
Bob who dated Zari way back when she was a young lady, now says Zari thought Anitah was calling her an old woman when she said, Mama.
“First of all, I was surprised that she acted like that because that is not the Zari I know, she used to be a calm person but she changed. I think Anita mentioning the word Mama made Zari think they had referred to her as an old woman. But calling someone mama is a sign of respect so she shouldn’t have gotten angry,” he said.
