All is not well between two of East Africa’s fast-rising stars; Kenya’s Willy Paul and his Tanzanian counterpart Rayvanny.
This is after Willy Paul alias Pozze took to Instagram where he claimed ownership of a new song dubbed “Chuchuma” set to be released by Rayvanny.
A direct reference to a post made by the WCB singer a day ago that has garnered over 97,000 views and favourable reviews.
In the video, Pozze explained that it was sad to see his idea on Chuchuma being stolen just because their alleged collaboration fizzled out.
“I would like to bring this to everybody’s attention that there is some artiste somewhere anajaribu kuniibia, anajaribu kumuibia mkenya na all along wakenya wameusupport sana muziki wao. Nimepata support kutoka kwa country yao pia but it’s so sad kuona mtu anajaribu kuniibia just because callabo haikuwaork out, mtu ananiibia idea yangu it’s so painful," said Pozze.
The Saldido boss warned that he will not take the alleged theft lying down.
"You cannot do that to a brother. You cannot steal and get away with it. And my friend listen. Nobody steals from Pozze.”
A drastic escalation considering that three weeks ago the two artists were in Nairobi as star attractions during the birthday party of Dr. Catherine Nyongesa Watta at Radisson Blu.
Both Rayvanny and Willy Paul performed at the event celebrating one of the 22 oncologists in Kenya.
Is there truth to Pozze's allegations? Take a listen to his supposed original and that of Rayvanny below.
