A man alleged to be Wema Sepetu’s lover stole the show during the birthday party of Tanzanian singer Faustina Charles Mfinanga, popularly known as Nandy.
It is said the man in question raised eyebrows among netizens after ‘gifting’ the Ninogeshe hit maker with approximately Sh220,000 in cash during the birthday celebrations that took place at the Next Door Arena, Dar es salaam.
It is further reported that the man, only identified as Rajab, was behind Wema’s flashy lifestyle before he got annoyed by the leaked video of Wema and her said boyfriend Patrick getting cozy.
“Nyie mlikuwa mnamjua tu PCK, siyo hivyo… kuna mwanaume mmoja wa Mwanza anaitwa Rajabu ndiye aliyekuwa akimpa Wema jeuri ya pesa, sasa alipoona zile video chafu za Wema na PCK akakasirika sana, akaamua kumtosa na sasa kahamia kwa Nandy,” a source revealed to Global Publishers.
When Nandy was reached for a comment, she revealed that she was not aware that the said man was in any sort of relationship with Wema Sepetu and that he had only reached out to her for a business deal.
She further said even though she was shocked by the ‘generous’ gift from Rajab, it was just a coincidence that he was in town during her birthday party and therefore, she extended an invitation to him.
“Mh! Waja wana mambo sana, kwanza niseme nashtuka wewe kuniambia mambo ya bwana wa Wema, mimi yule bwana alinipa kama milioni tano hivi nilipozihesabu na nilishangaa kwani sikuwa nikijua kuwa nitapewa pesa hizo lakini si mpenzi wangu, wala sijawahi kujua kama anatoka na Wema,” she said.
The Aibu hit maker also denied that the man in question bought her the new BMW X1 she acquired on her birthday.
“Ni kweli nilimualika kwenye pati yangu akanipa pesa kama mlivyoona lakini sina uhusiano naye wa kimapenzi na wala gari hili hajaninunulia yeye, mimi nimejinunulia mwenyewe kwa kazi zangu tu. Kuhusu nyumba nimepangishiwa na mpenzi wangu ambaye siwezi kumtaja kwa sasa ila ni mtu maarufu tu” she said.
