Big Brother Africa 2014 winner Idris Sultan could not hide his relief after his ex-girlfriend, Wema Sepetu was released on a cash bail of Sh88,000.
A Tanzanian court found the former beauty queen guilty of use and possession of bhang sentencing her to a one-year jail term or a fine of Tsh2 million for the crimes.
Happy that she managed to foot the bail, Idris took to his social media where he revealed that had she not managed he would have paid for her.
“Wa sultan hawakai mbali na sultan. Kama vipi nitalipa,” Idris posted alongside a photo of Wema after the court sentencing.
As one would assume, it did not sit well with his current girlfriend.
According to the actor, his bae was not amused by his intended gesture and she has been giving him the silent treatment.
It is clear Idris still holds Wema in esteem despite their breakup in 2016. Cracks began to show after the actress had a miscarriage leading to the couple having an on-and-off relationship.
