Bongo star Alikiba has been awarded by Sony Music Africa after his song Aje hit five million views on Youtube. Alikiba received the award in Johannesburg, South Africa at the music label’s headquarters.
Through their Istagram page, Sony Music wrote:
“What an incredible start to 2017! One month in and we’ve had the honour of presenting @officialalikiba an award for 5 million views of #AJE! It was awesome having you with us today #KingKiba fans, #AJERemix is out today! Go watch the official music video on the AlikibaVEVO @youtube channel.”
On the same day, Ali K released a video of the song’s remix featuring Nigerian rapper MI.
